Examples are worked out from our per-square-foot rates using typical floor sizes. Your final price depends on the measured tiled area and the condition of your tiles. Bathrooms and wet areas are not included.
Polishing vs replacing your tiles
Hacking and re-tiling a 4-room flat means debris, noise, several weeks of work and a much larger bill. Polishing or marble gum grouting keeps your existing homogeneous tiles and is usually completed in 1 to 4 days, with no hacking at all.
Pricing questions
Is there a minimum charge?
For smaller areas such as a single room, corridor or kitchen we quote a fixed price from your photos instead of using the per-square-foot rate, so you know the exact cost before we come.
What affects the price of homogeneous tiles polishing?
The measured tiled area, how worn or scratched the tiles are, how much renovation residue is on the floor, and whether the area is empty or furnished.
Does the $4 marble gum price include polishing?
Yes. Marble gum grouting is always finished with full polishing — the $4 per sq ft rate covers both.
How do you measure the area?
We use the floor area of the rooms being done. If you have your HDB or condo floor plan, send it with your photos and we can quote faster.
