Common problems in resale homes
- Tiles gone dull and hazy after years of mopping with harsh cleaners
- Walkway paths worn matte while corners still shine
- Grout lines stained grey or black
- Scratches from moving furniture in and out
- Residue left behind by previous owners' renovation
Polish or marble gum?
If your grout is still reasonably clean, homogeneous tiles polishing is the quickest, most affordable refresh. If the grout lines are dark and make the floor look old even after cleaning, marble gum grouting replaces them and polishes the whole floor at the same time.
HDB resale
Older HDB flats from the 1990s and 2000s often have good-quality homogeneous tiles underneath years of dullness. Polishing brings them back, and marble gum gives them a modern seamless look — a big visual upgrade for a resale renovation without the cost and noise of hacking. We work within HDB's permitted renovation hours.
Condo resale
Condo units often use large-format homogeneous tiles that suit marble gum especially well, because the fewer joints you see, the more the floor looks like solid marble. Whether you are moving in, preparing for a sale, or getting a unit ready for a new tenant, polishing lifts the whole space.

Resale questions
My resale flat's tiles are 15 years old. Can they still be polished?
Usually yes. Homogeneous tiles have colour through the body, so even older tiles can be polished back to a gloss. Chipped or cracked tiles will still show some marks, and we will point these out before starting.
Can you polish while I'm living in the flat?
Yes. We work room by room and move furniture in sections. An empty flat is faster, but a lived-in home is not a problem.
Is polishing worth it before selling or renting out?
For many owners, yes. Glossy, clean floors photograph much better for listings and make a unit feel brighter and better maintained, at a fraction of the cost of new flooring.
Do you work in condominiums?
Yes. We follow your condo's renovation rules and work hours and can provide details your management office needs.
